MEA Awards $50,000 to Electrify DMV and LEDC for Electrification Outreach Program
ANNAPOLIS, MD, June 4, 2025 — The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) announced it has awarded a $50,000 grant to Electrify DMV and Latino Economic Development Corporation of Washington DC (LEDC) as part of its Electrification Outreach Program. Electrify DMV is pleased to be a subawardee of this initiative, which will support general residential electrification outreach in the Central and Southern regions of Maryland.
This program aims to educate Maryland residents and building owners on the benefits of building electrification, encouraging the adoption of clean energy measures to improve health and safety, increase energy efficiency, and reduce emissions across the state. LEDC and Electrify DMV are proud to collaborate on this significant step towards a cleaner, more sustainable future for Maryland.
